I recently had my cataracts removed by Dr Joanne Miller of the Specialist Eye Centre in Northcliff and I was absolutely blown away by the service I received. I have never experienced such a perfect combination of qualities in one place before. The professionalism, ability, commitment, time management, teamwork and friendliness was amazing to experience. To top it all every person on the staff was really caring, I felt like my wellbeing was a priority. If that was not enough when I went to the Eye Hospital for the procedure it was exactly the same. To Dr Miller and her team I say a heartfelt Congratulations and thank you.

I recently had an op on my eye at the Johannesburg Eye hospital and all I can say is a BIG WOW, what an awesome experience from the moment I got out of my car until I got back into my car from the doorman to very single staff member, nurse, doctor, cleaning staff it was a 1st class world experience. Gives me some hope for our beautiful country when having being treated like this it was like going to a day spa.

I felt so alive and rejuvenated afterwards. I would sincerely like to thank Dr Esra and her team you are all such special, loving, and caring people.

I was admitted to the JHB Eye Hospital on 26 October and 2 November 2021 for cataract removals. I would like to express my sincere thanks for the fantastic treatment and care I received on both occasions. Every person I encountered in the hospital was friendly, respectful and helpful. The nursing care was professional and excellent! Being a Nursing Practitioner myself I am always critical of nursing care. I was fortunate to have Elaine looking after me and with her support was able to get through both stressful times.

Please extend my sincere gratitude to all the staff at the hospital. This also includes everyone in theatre.

In addition, I would also like to thank every person at your practice. The friendly and professional care creates a safe environment for a procedure that is very traumatic for me.
